Another New Bird

A flock of Pine Grosbeaks appeared in the woods today. They were gathering seed that fell to the ground from the new feeder W made. This is another new one for the life list. According to Sibley this is their southern range where they appear only in the winter. Pictures were hard to get since they flew around so much. This is a femaleand this is a male.
We also enjoyed 3 hairy woodpeckers that came for the seed.
