More Snow

Now we really have snow - about 11 inches of snow combined with a layer of ice on top.  That is a LOT of snow to remove from all our roads and sidewalks.  There is a walk outside of our unit that they label "Not maintained in winter" that we probably won't see until spring.  And my poor birds don't have any food.  The snow is deeper than my boots are high, so we will have to shovel a path to the bird feeder.  And we have single digit temperatures at night.  I do not remember temps that low, except in the Adirondacks.
