Today we drove around the Ring of Kerry. The weather was rainy and foggy, which means
we missed many of the sights. But we saw
lots of rainbows, reminding us of their association with Ireland. We decided the high latitude of Ireland, and
therefore the low angle of the sun, might have something to do with it. We stopped along the shore at Waterville.
This is one of the lakes along the drive. Someone pointed out that the Adirondacks is
even prettier and has more lakes.
In the afternoon we stopped at Muckross House in
the national park. We explored the gardensand gave an informal concert. In the evening we gave our first formal concert in St Mary’s Church of Ireland.
