Bryozoans

I finally identified the gelatinous mass found underwater in lakes and streams.  I always thought it was eggs of some sort.  It turns out it is a colony of freshwater bryozoans.  We found some at the west end of the lake.

After a few busy days in New Jersey, we drove to camp Monday the 20th.  Then the family came to visit Thursday and will be here until Tuesday.  Good time being had by all.
