Another NJSO Concert

Last evening we drove to NJPAC in Newark because we didn't want to miss Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, and an evening concert was the only option.  We were surprised how little traffic there was.  Much better than Sunday afternoon.
Violinist Ning Feng was fantastic.  Then as an encore he played a mind-bending Paganini Caprice.  We also heard

• Fagerlund - Isola, which was interesting
• Sibelius - Symphony No 5, which was not so interesting
