We had a long day today. We drove ~2 1/2 hours to the airport in Ottawa and boarded a plane for Calgary. It was a very easy drive and the airport is surprisingly small. Getting through security was a breeze. In Calgary we picked up a rental car and drove ~1 1/2 hours to Banff and up Mountain Avenue to the Rimrock Hotel at the base of the Banff gondola on Sulfur Mountain. This is the view from our balcony.
